FirstLine

FirstLine is an ethics hotline for all associates/employees of FirstService companies. We encourage our associates to call this number if they have concerns about behavior you witness that you believe is illegal, unethical or any may be harmful to our company.

This toll-free service 1-800-624-2195 is operated 24/7 by Navex, an independent third party company. When associates call, a specially trained interviewer documents your concern and relays the information to our parent company FirstService Corporation for review and follow-up. They can also file your report online at FirstService.ethicspoint.com. You may remain anonymous if you wish.
FirstLine should not be used to report HR-related issues such as payroll questions, conflicts with co-workers or supervisors. HR and operational-related concerns should be discussed with your Manager or HR Department first.​
FirstService was built on a foundation of ethics and integrity. We believe that building and maintaining an ethical work environment means more than simply doing the right thing. It also means that we must all be aware of what is going on around us and speak up about any activity that can potentially harm our company, our associates/employees, our customers or our shareholders. We all have a responsibility to report questionable activities, and FirstLine is a resource for FirstService associates/employees to report concerns or ask any questions, without fear of repercussions or retaliation. ​ ​ In addition, because our company is a subsidiary of FirstService Corporation, a publicly traded company and a Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) registrant, we must abide by certain legal requirements, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. One of the rules of this corporate governance legislation is the implementation of an “ethics reporting line” to help safeguard against potentially harmful activities within our company. FirstService Corporation and its subsidiaries fully support and comply with the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.​
