Whether it’s participating in new hire orientation, a 4-stage community manager onboarding program or a supervisor program, our new hires are carefully acclimated to their role, the company's culture, and what we have to offer. HR associates should partner with managers to ensure all new and newly transferred associates are presented with the onboarding plan upon hire.

Onboarding Survey

The onboarding survey provides a systematic approach to solicit feedback from newly hired associates with the goal of retaining top talent. The survey will also help measure new associates’ level of satisfaction and overall experience with the organization. The onboarding survey is launched 60-days post hire and is open for 35 days. Unlike the AX survey, the onboarding survey is NOT anonymous.

Leadership Onboarding & Assimilation

The “New Leader Assimilation” is an onboarding tool targeted at all Director Level & Above internal promotions/new hires with a minimum of three direct reports. The goal of the exercise is to the team an opportunity to ask the new leader questions, get to know their expectations, build the basis for a successful working relationship and lay the foundation for open communication, strategic and problem-solving preferences. The exercise will also give the leader the opportunity to share more about their vision for the team and the company, leadership and preferred communication style.

NHO Presentation Deck: Updated 2024

The New Hire Orientation presentation helps our associates learn more about the company structure, values, programs and processes. New Hire Orientation should be conducted in-person or virtually whenever possible. There is also an online version for associates unable to attend an in-person or virtual session.
